Attorney Wayne Gross was elected to the Orange County Bar Association’s executive committee and is in line to be president, officials announced today.
In a statement to OCBA members, Gross said: ” I want to thank all those who encouraged me to run and provided me with their tremendous support.
I pledge to do everything I can to ensure that every member’s voice is heard, and that the Bar continues to provide the highest level of
service to both its members and the community. I also want to thank my friend and colleague, Solange Ritchie, who ran a fabulous race and is
such an important part of the Bar.”
Orange County attorney Wayne Gross made his second appearance this week on Orange County Business Journal editor Rick Reiff’s television talk show, “Inside OC.”
Gross joined attorney Geraldine Ly and Orange County Register journalist Peggy Lowe to discuss local issues.
Among the topics: the homeless in Laguna Beach, Orange County gang injunctions, the distribution of federal stimulus funds, the state’s water crisis and more.

More than 100 members of the Orange County Bar Association attended a panel discussion about legal marketing and ethics Tuesday night at Chapman Law School.
Moderated by Orange County attorney Wayne Gross, the panel featured some of the region’s top attorneys, including: Martha K. Gooding, partner at Howrey LLP; John C. Hueston, partner at Irell & Manella; Jennifer L. Keller, partner at Keller Rackauckas, LLP and Thomas R. Malcom, partner, Jones Day.
“It was an outstanding event, and I was impressed by the panel as well as the quality of questions and discussion from those who attended,” Gross said.
Greenberg Traurig partner Wayne Gross will be featured as one of Orange County’s “Hot 25” in the November edition of OC Metro magazine, the publication announced this week.
The region’s leading business lifestyle magazine “considers each individual’s accomplishments, current projects, standing in the community and ‘hot’ factor, among other details” in deciding who earns the prestigious honor.
Gross joins an exclusive list of the county’s most notable leaders in business, politics, culture and sports. It’s the 20th anniversary of Hot 25. Look for the magazine Nov. 1.
Joining a long list of distinguished endorsers, Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas announced today that he has endorsed Wayne Gross for OCBA Secretary. The District Attorney and Gross worked closely together when Gross served as the chief federal prosecutor for Orange County.
Attorney Wayne Gross will lead an Orange County Bar Association discussion in October highlighting effective and ethical marketing of legal services.
Titled “Making Rain During a Dry Season,” the event will feature a panel of senior attorneys from some of Orange County’s most prestigious law firms. It’s scheduled for Oct. 6 at Chapman Law School.
